Spring 2025 Family Bike Ride - An event featuring our cookie potluck, play at the government center playground, an exploration of the infrastructure of downtown Boston, music by Keytar Bear and more.
Those considering cargo bikes can get most of your research done in one place and time. Talk to owners who are there to give you good information and a variety of opinions.
If you own a cargo bike already, volunteer to help people considering purchasing one.
Wednesday September 17th 2025 around 6. Not a ride, but a chance to go out without the kids after work to meet and and hang out with folks in the Family Bike Ride universe and beyond. During non speaker time we can play our giant board games as an ice breaker. Takes place at Aeronaut which has great beers and for food there are delicious Arepas from Carolicious located inside Aeronaut.

Winter 2025 Family Bike Ride - March 1, 2025, A ride from Cambridgeside to Esplanade Playground.
Halloween 2024 Ride - A ride from Assembly Row to Riverbend Park in Medford. Bike to bike trick or treating, costumes!
Zoo Ride - A ride from Cambridge to the Franklin Park Zoo using SW Corridor Park and Emerald Necklace.
Summer 2024 Ride - A ride from Glacken Park Cambridge to Filippello Park Watertown via the Watertown Greenway, new Huron Ave protected bike lanes, Fresh Pond protected bike lane. Ice cream, of course and more.
River Ride - A ride from Healey School Somerville to Medford and Everett, exploring paths adjacent to Mystic and Malden rivers. Joining up with another event before a return ride back to Healey School
Spring 2024 Family Bike Ride - Sekler Playground, Cambridge to Artesani Playground Brighton/Boston via Memorial Drive/Riverbend Park and Paul Dudley Paths
Winter 2024 Family Bike Ride - Cambridge Crossing to Menino Park Charlestown/Boston via Paul Revere Park, Boston Harbor Walk.
Halloween 2023 Family Bike Ride - Magnolia Park Arlington to Joey's Park Belmont via Cambridge Fitchburg Cutoff Path and carefully planned route through Belmont.
Summer 2023 CPX Family Bike Ride - Davis Square Somerville to Paul Revere Park Charlestown/Boston via Cambridge Crossing
A ride to the newly opened Community Path Extension.
Spring 2023 Family Bike Ride - Davis Square Somerville to Spy Pond Playground, Arlington
A ride to the newly renovated Spy Pond Playground.
Halloween 2023 Ride
Sekler Playground on closed to cars Memorial Drive Cambridge to Paul Dudley Bike Path on Boston side of Charles River, then a loop back.
