In association with Biking Together Waltham, we present: 

Waltham Family Bike Ride

Saturday April 26th, 2025, 9:45AM, gather at Glacken Park, Cambridge

A 7 mile ride to the Sheepshearing Festival at Gore Place Waltham from Glacken Park Cambridge via Huron protected bike lanes, Watertown Greenway, Charles River Paths and small amount of sidewalk and calm street riding.  Will take up most of the day (9AM-~4PM).  Ride is too long for emerging self propelled riders.  Attendees are responsible for their costs of the day, which are $20 admittance for those age 13 and older (12 and younger free) and whatever food your purchase at the festival.  

Draft schedule, your family is free to leave/rejoin the main group as you like:

9:45AM-Gather at Glacken Park, Cambridge

(get there earlier if you want to play at Glacken Park)

10:00AM-Ride to Gore Place Waltham (7 miles)

10:45-11AM Arrive at Gore Place

11:00AM-2PM Free time at Sheepshearing Festival,

12:30PM-Herding Dog Demos

1:30PM Circus Smirkus

2PM Gather, 2:10PM Bike 0.7 miles to Lowell Playground

2:15-3 Free time at Lowell Playground including meeting members of Biking Together Waltham and some sweet treats.

3PM Biking Together Waltham group escorts us back to the Charles River and we ride back to Cambridge area

3:45-4PM Return to Cambridge
